How do I check the status of my application?

The recruiting manager will usually invite you to an interview or notify you if you have been successful via your NHS jobs account. If you have not heard anything from the department, phone or email the named contact given on the advert when you applied for the vacancy. If you are not sure who the contact is, call King’s main switchboard on 020 3299 9000 and ask to be transferred to the ward or department to which you have applied.

What should I do if I am unable to submit an application online?

If NHS Jobs won’t let you submit your application, this is usually because the advert has closed. The manager is not obliged to take a late application, but you can contact the person named on the advert to find out if they will accept it.

Please note: we may close a vacancy early from time to time. This is because we have had a very high number of applications in a short time. The manager will usually state on the advert if they think they may have to close an advert early, in which case you should apply as soon as you can.
