King’s accommodation
We offer a variety of short-stay and long-term accommodation close to the main hospital campus through a number of housing associations.
Short-stay rooms
We have a number of short stay rooms for single occupation only. These are directly adjacent to King’s College Hospital's main campus on the corner of Coldharbour Lane and Coldharbour Place.
They are open to permanent staff, temporary staff and other groups on a nightly basis for any period from one night up to a maximum of three months, subject to availability. All accommodation is furnished, has full en-suite facilities and costs £30 a night.
To book a short-stay room, call the Accommodation Office on 020 3299 3400. They will give you more details and let you know whether a room is available on the date(s) you request.
Long-term accommodation
To apply for long-term Housing Association accommodation, print out and complete the relevant application form below and send it to:

Sir James Black House, Grove Vale, St Giles House and Hanover Park are all managed by Affinity Sutton Housing Association. There is a standard application covering all its properties; you need to fill out only one form to express your interest in renting accommodation in any of them.
Hambleden Court
Hambleden Court offers long-term accommodation for staff at King’s College Hospital, King’s College London and other local hospitals. The property is owned and managed by Orbit Housing Association.
The large block of identical four-bedroom flats is about one mile from King’s main campus and less than half a mile from Dulwich Community Hospital. Each resident has a furnished, single room of their own and shares kitchen/dining and bathroom facilities with three other staff members.
Rent: £381.66 per month, including council tax and all bills.
Minimum tenancy agreement: Three months

Sir James Black House
Sir James Black House is on Coldharbour Lane, five minutes from the hospital. It consists of cluster flats with private en-suite and shared kitchen/dining facilities.
Rent: £503.36 per month, including council tax and water rates.

Grove Vale
Grove Vale is at Goose Green, Dulwich, about one mile from King's. It comprises studio apartments and cluster flats.
A limited number of the studios are suitable for couples, the remainder are for single occupancy. All the rooms in the cluster flats have en-suite bathrooms and shared kitchen/dining facilities.
Cluster room rent: £505.07-£508.02 per month
Studio rent: £598.08 per month
Double studio rent: £722.02 per month
All rents include council tax and water rates.
Minimum tenancy agreement: three months
St Giles House
St Giles House is between Peckham and Camberwell, about 15-20 minutes from King’s main campus. It consists of studios, and one- and two-bedroom flats.
Studio rent: £545.57 per month
One-bedroom flat rent: £726.96 per month
Two-bedroom flat rent: £923.05 per month
All rents exclude council tax and bills.
Minimum tenancy agreement: three months
Hanover Park
Hanover Park is in Peckham, about 20-30 minutes from the hospital. It offers studios apartments as well as two- and three-bedroom flats for staff. A limited number of the studios are suitable for couples, the remainder are for single occupancy.
Studio rent: £605.98 per month
Two-bedroom flat rent: £950.81 per month
3 Bedroom Flat Rent: £1,072.86 per month
All rents exclude council tax and bills.
