Cleaning, catering and the many other support services staff at King’s fulfil a vital role in helping to keep the hospital running smoothly day in, day out.

Quite simply, we could not do without them and the valuable contribution they make to the Trust and how we operate.

These ‘soft’ services are provided by Medirest, an external specialist supplier. It is responsible for recruiting staff in a number of areas throughout the hospital such as:

housekeeping
pest control
portering
waste management
laundry
catering
patient feeding
